Miracle power in the heart of despair

What happened shook our hearts…

A relative of ours had been in a very serious accident and was in extremely critical condition. He went into a coma, and the doctors were almost hopeless. They said there was nothing more anyone could do. Our home fellowship gathered together, and we decided to pray with faith and unity. In that moment, we all prayed for his healing and asked God to place His hand over his life.

Days passed, and slowly signs of recovery began to appear. Now, he has come out of the coma, and God has completely healed him.

This experience reminded us that when we pray with faith and unity, nothing is impossible, and God truly hears our prayers.

One prayer… one unexpected moment none of us saw coming.

For years, my mom struggled with severe knee pain—so much that she couldn’t sleep at night. The doctors had told her she needed surgery, but she was always afraid of going through with it. One day, I told my weekly fellowship group that I wanted to bring my mom so we could pray for her.

That night felt different. We all prayed for her together. A few days later, my mom told me, “My knee pain has really decreased… I’m not waking up at night anymore.” She even said she could walk more easily without her cane.

For me, this was a clear healing. Glory to the God who heard our prayers and lifted my mom up.

A while ago, we were really struggling financially. There was no work and no income… honestly, we were getting exhausted. Every week, my friends and I—who meet together regularly—would gather and pray just one simple prayer: “God, please open the door for work and bless us.”

We prayed like this for almost two months. Many times we felt discouraged, but we kept going. And then suddenly, the doors opened. We found work, our financial situation improved, and things even became better than before.

For me, this was a clear sign that God never stops working. It may seem like it’s too late, but at the right time, you’ll see His miracle.

Glory to God for this blessing.

For a while, I had been struggling with depression. I couldn’t sleep at night, my mind was filled with chaotic thoughts, and almost every day I woke up with headaches and exhaustion. I felt trapped in a never-ending cycle—nothing I tried seemed to help, and I wasn’t getting better.

But once I started attending the weekly fellowship meetings and the sisters and brothers began praying for me, a special kind of peace slowly entered my heart. After a short time, God worked a miracle. One day I realized that those daily headaches and all that inner turmoil were gone. I was sleeping more easily at night, and I could feel that God had touched my heart and mind.

In that moment, I just cried—but this time out of joy and gratitude. Because I knew God had heard me, and that He had healed me through these fellowship gatherings.

Praise to the God who is alive, the God who works in the lives of His children, and who fills our hearts with peace and healing through being together.

From loneliness to the birth of a new Fellowship

It’s now been three years since we started our weekly fellowship, and during this time, I’ve seen over and over how God can do great things through these simple and intimate gatherings.

Some time ago, through one of the dear friends in our fellowship, we learned about a family who were believers but had no fellowship or community of faith around them. I felt God was leading us to visit them.

We went to see them. Their home was filled with love and warmth, and as soon as we sat down, they began sharing their testimony. The father spoke about his journey of faith and about the transformation God had brought into his life. Then his wife shared how one day their two daughters asked her:

“Mom, what happened to Dad? Why has he changed so much? Why is he so kind and calm now?”

And she told them that ever since they believed in Jesus Christ, God had changed his heart. Right then the girls said:

“If believing in Jesus brings this kind of change, then we want to believe too!”

And that very day, those two daughters came to faith. Later on, through this same family, two more people came to know God.

But what impacted me the most was that despite all these blessings, they had no fellowship. Right then and there, we told them, “You can start your own fellowship! God wants to use you.”

Together, we helped them begin their very first gathering that same day. We prayed, read the Word, and felt God’s presence among us.

That day taught me a lesson: when we reach out to those who are alone, God uses even the smallest steps to bring great blessings. Now that family has not only been strengthened themselves, but they’re also planting seeds of fellowship and faith in the hearts of others.

Praise God for His love and for allowing us to take part in the work that He Himself has begun.
