From loneliness to the birth of a new Fellowship

It’s now been three years since we started our weekly fellowship, and during this time, I’ve seen over and over how God can do great things through these simple and intimate gatherings.
Some time ago, through one of the dear friends in our fellowship, we learned about a family who were believers but had no fellowship or community of faith around them. I felt God was leading us to visit them.
We went to see them. Their home was filled with love and warmth, and as soon as we sat down, they began sharing their testimony. The father spoke about his journey of faith and about the transformation God had brought into his life. Then his wife shared how one day their two daughters asked her:
“Mom, what happened to Dad? Why has he changed so much? Why is he so kind and calm now?”
And she told them that ever since they believed in Jesus Christ, God had changed his heart. Right then the girls said:
“If believing in Jesus brings this kind of change, then we want to believe too!”
And that very day, those two daughters came to faith. Later on, through this same family, two more people came to know God.
But what impacted me the most was that despite all these blessings, they had no fellowship. Right then and there, we told them, “You can start your own fellowship! God wants to use you.”
Together, we helped them begin their very first gathering that same day. We prayed, read the Word, and felt God’s presence among us.
That day taught me a lesson: when we reach out to those who are alone, God uses even the smallest steps to bring great blessings. Now that family has not only been strengthened themselves, but they’re also planting seeds of fellowship and faith in the hearts of others.
Praise God for His love and for allowing us to take part in the work that He Himself has begun.
