The verse that brought my tired faith back to life.

For a while, I hadn’t been in a good emotional place. My heart was full of questions and complaints. I felt like I was wrestling with God, constantly asking:

“God, why? Why so much injustice? Why do our people have to suffer this much? Where are You? Why do You just watch?”

Even on the day we were supposed to go to our weekly fellowship meeting, I told my husband, “If there really is a God, why doesn’t He do something?”

I walked into the meeting with that same mindset and a tired heart. My mind was still crowded with questions.

But when the brother began reading a verse during the meeting, it felt as if God Himself was speaking directly to me. The passage was from Habakkuk, chapter 2, verses 2 and 3:

“Then the Lord replied: ‘Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it.

For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false.

Though it lingers, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.’”

When those verses were read, it was like a light turned on inside my heart. In that moment, I realized that God isn’t silent—He acts in His own timing. God sees everything, and His promises never come late. All that discouragement and complaining slowly melted away, replaced by peace and assurance.

That meeting became a turning point for me. God answered my questions through His Word and lifted my discouragement. I understood that waiting in faith is itself a sign of trust in God.

Thank God for these weekly fellowship gatherings that truly bring encouragement and strength—especially in those times when our hearts are weary and full of questions.
