"Simple faith—the start of a fellowship."

Our Weekly Fellowship began through the effort and persistence of my son, who has a disability, and it quickly began to grow. Before sharing the start of our fellowship, I want to tell my life story.
Nine years ago, while travelling, a truck veered off its lane and we were in a terrible accident. My husband died instantly. My son, then nine, and I were taken to hospital. Because of a serious back injury, his leg movement decreased and, a year later, he could no longer walk and now uses a wheelchair.
A year ago I gave my heart to Christ. I then shared the Gospel with my son, and, thank God, he now walks with the Lord. Through the Weekly Fellowship program, we started our own fellowship and prayed for more members. In fact, my son made a great suggestion: “Let’s start with our own relatives.” So, we began sharing with aunts, uncles—everyone close to us. Because they saw how joyful my son was in Jesus, they believed one after another.
We are now eight people. Thank God!
For me this is a sign that even in the hardest circumstances—and with physical limitations—God can use our lives to spread His love and salvation. Today when I look at my son, I see someone who lives in a wheelchair yet stands tall in spirit. He is the inspiration of our fellowship, and we witness God’s power to turn pain into blessing.
