I had drifted away from our fellowship and taken refuge in alcohol, to the point that I ended up in hospital. One night I called a member of our Weekly Fellowship and just cried and complained. My mind was full of unanswered “whys.” Why doesn’t my heavenly Father see me? Why don’t I get better? And much more.
He just listened to me for a time before saying, “We can’t do anything about your past—but we empathise. We can’t change your past because it’s past. But today, we’re here to take your hand. Come out of the four walls you’ve imprisoned yourself in and come back to fellowship!” That one sentence was enough—it shook me. From then on, I decided to reconnect with our fellowship.
Since that day I’ve seen new doors opening daily—for my job, finances, and much more. Everything is being provided for me almost miraculously. I no longer drink, and God is loving me back to life. I finally understood what it means that in Christ we are members of one body.
I thank God for our Weekly Fellowship that changed everything in my life!
