Publishing Christian books in Persian—in print or digitally—is prohibited in Iran. So, while some courageous believers do print crucial titles on underground presses, the main burden of providing Christian books and teaching materials for Iran’s church falls on Christians outside the country.  

Getting physical books into Iran is dangerous; and, as with Bibles, the demand for more books is growing.  

This is why digital resources have proved invaluable for resourcing Iran’s church and strengthening believers. Through websites, apps, and satellite TV, many agencies provide rich teaching resources. Elam’s Kalameh app, for example, is home to an e-library of 100+ Persian-language Christian books, as well as the Weekly Fellowship resource, which helps groups of believers without a trained leader gather for fellowship.  

Yet still more resources are needed. Iran needs many more titles—especially on family matters, as well as wisdom on healing from trauma after the brutal events of early 2026. The many gifted writers in Iran’s church need encouragement to put pen to paper.
