When I came to faith, my husband strongly opposed it. He had an addiction, and I always prayed he would stop using, but he refused. If I spoke to him about Jesus, he told me not to.
One day in our fellowship I broke down and prayed for my husband to believe and be freed from his addiction.
For several weeks our group’s work was to pray for him.
One week as I was leaving for Weekly Fellowship, my husband said, “I want to come and see what you do there.”
That night he just observed, but then he said, “I want to believe too,” and put his faith in Jesus
After a few weeks of praying with him about the addiction, he decided to quit—and he truly did. It’s now been two months that he has been clean.
