“Being together helped us experience God’s presence more deeply!”

I remember that in Iran we started a Weekly Fellowship with a small community that met online. Because they lived near each other, I encouraged them to choose a day to meet in person, but due to the situation in Iran, they were fearful and anxious and preferred to remain online.
I kept praying that God would open a way for an in‑person gathering. One day they called to say they had finally met in person and had carried out a part of their Weekly Fellowship together.
They happily said they had received greater blessing and sensed God’s presence more tangibly. Being side by side helped them enjoy God’s presence—and each other—more. I urged them to continue meeting like this regularly.
I want to encourage anyone who hesitates to meet in person because of their fears about what might happen if they gather—just try a Weekly Fellowship in person once. After that, you will find there’s no substitute. The strength found in meeting face to face can’t be matched online.
