His Name Shall Be Called Wonderful

Every day we meet people with beautiful, fitting names, and sometimes we hear names that are strange and ill-suited; but in all my life I have never met anyone named 'Wonderful.' In the book of the prophet Isaiah, written some two thousand seven hundred years ago, we read a prophecy about a very great person who was to appear and be given the name 'Wonderful.' It is quite clear that this person is Jesus Christ Himself. There is no doubt that He is the most wonderful being ever to appear on earth.
