A Prayer for Nowruz and Iran

Heavenly Father,
At Nowruz, it is our tradition that the younger ones reach out first to wish the elders a happy new year. It is a simple but beautiful sign of love, respect, and connection.
But this year feels different. Because of conflict and the breaking of communication, many of us are waiting—waiting for our elders in Iran to call us, to hear their voices, to know they are safe.
Lord, we lift up every family separated by distance, fear, and silence. Protect our loved ones, especially the elders who carry wisdom and memory. Restore every broken line of communication, and bring peace where there is tension and war.
Let this new year not be marked by silence and worry, but by renewed connection, safety, and hope.
